CC Clinic holds an annual "Celebrate the Son" concert bringing together the talents of local musical groups from area churches to offer a night of praise. For the past two years, the concert, held at South Reno Baptist Church, has highlighted musical performances from Celebrate Recovery Praise Band from Summit Christian Church, His Piper Worship Team from Sparks Nazarene Church, Backstage Pass, South Reno Baptist’s worship leader Danny Beas and 4 His Glory and others.
KTVN Channel 2 has been kind enough to lend its news anchors Mike Alger and Kristen Remington to emcee these special evenings, which greatly support the ongoing mission of CC Clinic in providing essential dental care to its patients.
We look forward to next year's Celebrate the Son concert. Check back for forthcoming details.
CC Clinic's annual Holiday Tea brings together the talents of a number of ladies in the Northern Nevada community to help sell craft items in a boutique setting and to celebrate the holiday season with treats and drinks. This year, clinic supporter Pat Eby hosted our third annual Holiday Tea on Nov. 9. The event raised $2,000 to keep our dental ministry's doors open. Photos were taken by JoJo Brooke.
Items for sale at the tea include handmade items such as quilts, crocheted/knitted items, wall hangings/paintings and handmade jewelry. If you are one of those people to whom God gave a creative personality, please consider making something for this annual event. Perhaps you are part of a club that does crafts and they would like to contribute. We are always more than happy to pick up your donations if needed.
Thank you so much for your continued support of CC Clinic. Without you, we could not continue to offer "health and hope" to the less fortunate in our community.
Compassion Community Clinic will celebrate its fifth anniversary of operation by serving Northern Nevadans with free dental care this December. We invite all of our volunteers, donors and the clinic’s three part-time staff members during patient care sessions on Dec. 14 and 15 this year to attend.
“We are delighted to have made a positive impact in our patients’ lives these past five years,” said Chris Ormsby, board chairman and co-founder of CC Clinic. “We remain on mission to provide dental health and hope for our community’s low-income and uninsured adults who suffer with dental
What an incredible day God provided for us on June 2, 2018. Compassion Community Clinic's first Golf Outing was a complete success thanks to the hard work of David Stieg, our Board of Directors and staff. The team at ArrowCreek Golf Course was fantastic and everyone had a great time! We've learned a lot for next year's event and it's going to be awesome!
We hope you'll join us!
