An un-FORE-gettable day
Dental professionals and anyone with a heart to help others. Whatever your skills or training, we appreciate your desire to volunteer.
Compassion Community Clinic (CC Clinic) is a nonprofit dental clinic that offers “Health and Hope” to low-income, uninsured adults in our community. CC Clinic is the first and only ongoing, faith-based, free dental clinic in Northern Nevada. In Washoe County, 1 in 4 adults is estimated to have no dental insurance. This equates to thousands of adults who need access to the dental care that CC Clinic provides. Patients are served two to three times a month with sincere concern for their physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
Since CC Clinic opened in December 2013, we have:
- Provided $737,000 worth of free dental treatment.
- Seen more than 467 new patients in 1,230 appointments.
- Offered comforting prayer to every patient.
Office assistant Jessica shares why she volunteers and supports CC Clinic's mission.
